does a 590 fit in a 660 stand? Curious if they work that much better. I sold my 2012 with a 665 I bought from Best Buy that had XM and the 2014 RT Ltd only has the 660. Do the 590s come with XM radio?
    2012 RT A&C bought new 42312 sold July 2018 56k miles currently driving a 2014 RTSE6 LTD bought October 2018 w 6800 miles nicely farkled

No and No. 590 mount is different from 660 mount. 590 has an MP3 player in it and you can load a mini-SD card with music on it and install in GPS to play as you ride.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

As Jay stated, the 590 will not fit in a 660 mount, nor does it come with XM radio.

I have a 660 on my BMW and the 590 has a larger screen, and it seems brighter/sharper than my 660.
The 660 has most of the same features as a 590, but the 590 is significantly faster to boot up, and giving
instructions while riding. Sometimes I'm already past the turn when the 660 finally tells me to turn....
That's what a newer chip will do. The 660 is long in the tooth and no longer made.

BTW, the 665 came with XM, the 660 not..

One last thing, the 590 has a "curvy" road function that the 660 lacks also.

No, the Garmin Zumo 590LM Model: 010-01232-01 is not compatible with XM satellite radio.

To get traffic and weather you need to connect the unit to a smartphone and run the Garmin Smartphone Link app (search for it for more info). Traffic and weather services are an additional 1-time subscription charge.

You can use your zumo 590 with your cell phone, headset, and/or helmet by pairing them. So if you have the Sirius XM app on your phone I wonder if that would play through the Garmin 590? Will check it out and let you know.

I have my Iphone connected through Bluetooth to the Garmin. I also have the Sirius XM app on my phone. When I had the Garmin on and opened the app to Sirius XM it showed the music playing through the GPS.

good to hear, never thought of that! currently have a 4th gen ipod touch for jams and the Sirius app only installs on later OS... but would love to get the Sirius through the sound system although with Tmobile I imagine itll be spotty at best...Which Garmin do you use?

I used the GARMIN 590 to run SiriusXM through the GPS from my IPhone.
