    Default 2015 sm6 clutch mstr cylinder leak going ?

    i have a 2015 sm6. the clutch reservoir is empting every couple of months. i cannot see any leaks at the engine/clutch. is the clutch diaphram act a s the slave cyclinder. please help as i cannot get a handle on this problem.

    Pull the clutch lever in and tie it in that position. This will keep pressure on the system while you look for the leak.

    Hello i have the same issue now with the disappearing clutch fluid twice this month towed back 2010 rt5 did you find out where the oil was going, they want to replace the whole system, must be a better way

    Thumbs up SM5 Slave Cylinder Repair.

    The issue is worn "O" rings in the slave cylinder of the clutch. The fluid is pulled thru the slave cylinder and into the engine.
    this is a very common problem for SM5s. the repair has been well researched and documented.

    See post #17 for details by Youngers for performing the needed repair.

    Sorry... apparently uploading pictures is not functioning. but there is a small black plastic cover, three bolts, that when removed will show you if the slave cylinder is leaking. His cover is just below the bleeder valve for the clutch on the clutch cover left side of engine. If leaking replace o-ring and away you go...

    i was indeed able to fix the 08 with o rings but on the 2015 it appears that the diaphragm is the slave cylinder. has anybody tried just replacing the diaphragm????

    i have the same problem whith my f3s 2015 right now and i just find out that i need to take out the front sprocket to change the o ring below the clutch cylinder at the left side... did you fixed your problem and what was the problem?
