2 Up riders question
Is the passenger seat and limited hand holds sufficient to counteract the lateral forces on the passenger in turns. I'm concerned about the passenger feeling of sliding off and not feeling secure.

Definitely, my partner does not even use the hand holds and feels very secure (and I don't hang about)

We have the RT and have no problem. I ride pretty aggressively with Nanny kicking in a lot. My wife has no complaints and enjoys the ride as much as I do. She leans her upper body into the turn the same as I do it works wonderfully and makes the RT handle much better. The passenger seat has a learning curve just like the drivers seat does.

Slow down. G forces are reduced through corners with less speed. That's how I got Linda to become a driver. At first, she said she would not ride that "thing," and it would be a deal breaker for us.
Plant the outside foot on the footrests or peddles, grab the seat with the knees. Probably don't hurt to hold the driver also.

I agree, my wife tells me that when we are riding around, she doesn't hold on very much; usually only when she knows we are going to hit a bump.
I do have the 2-up rear spring and high back folding seat back.
