    Default 2010 RS Toolkit

I can't find the toolkit for my 2nd hand spyder, 2010. I think that it was supposed to be located in the frunk. There is only a manual there. What is in the toolkit? I need a spanner to adjust the shocks. Will a universal spanner work (can be bought locally) or does the shock only take the BRP wrench that is like 20 bucks delivered? Thanks. Scavenger hunt time.

    Default Little checking.....

The tool kit...if it is still there will be suspended on the left side of the trunk. I have found that you can change the setting of the shocks with no weight on them by turning the spring. But there are some adjustable spanner wrenches that will work if you have no tools...

Thanks. I can see the two prongs where the pouch must have been located. I have tools, but no spanner wrench. I just ordered one from amazon. I just was concerned that the shocks might need a propietary tool. Thanks for the update that when lifted and unloaded ... easy to turn and adjust. This board is a great resource! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Here is what is in the tool kit from the factory. The shock wrench, item 4, is still available from BRP.

@Stu - Missing the tyre pressure gauge isn't a big issue, they're electronic and I'm sure they are just fitted with a random number generator. I could read the same tyre three times in succession had end up with 3 completely different readings:-) Ended up chucking mine for a standard pencil one, which works a lot better for rear anyway.

You could make your own wrench with a piece of flat stock. There are adjustable ones you can get at any bearing supply house. SKF makes various sizes.
