Buying a used Spyder
When purchasing a used Spyder, or any vehicle, you are somewhat dependent on the seller to provide accurate information on the bike such as maintenance and/or problem history. Given the electronic monitoring capability of the Spyder is it possible for a dealer to "plug into" this system and provide the buyer with an accurate history of the bike?

Actually it gets better …. all you really need is the VIN & a helpful dealer …… But most spyders that are owner maintained won't have that info in the BRP record system...……...good luck …… Mike

The dealer can plug-in and tell you a bit about the owner's riding style, rpm, shifting, etc. Mike is right if the seller self-maintained, but if the seller purchased oil, filters, etc from the dealer and/or has good records, you can get some sense of maintenance.
Good luck.
