OK, gas and range numbers
I'm not sure why my initial gas readings where so far off. Perhaps it's because it was in the break in period, or perhaps it was the gas they used.
But here are the numbers with the first full tank. These numbers are approximate since it was yesterday and I have the memory of a flea.
31 mpg (Local riding regular mode)
Range left 26 miles
Trip meter 153 miles
Fuel light turned on when the range hit 31 miles.
Fuel gauge showed empty at around 50 miles range.
Put 5.25 gallons of premium into the tank.
Ironically, my miles to fill up are the same as my Ninja 1000 and 650. They both has smaller tanks, but better mileage around 45mpg.

On my last fill I went 175 miles and very close to 5 gal. That is all types of rides and modes. Just over 600 miles on premium gas. When I change to full syn. and get more miles on it, I hope to get 200 miles to tank. cueman

we have a different "mapping" here for Europe (less CO2 than in the USA ??) - after 1.600 mls (few "Autobahn") i reach around 190 mls for the next fill-up .. BUT i think the tank holds more than on the catalogue ( one gallon ??).. my display gives me another 25-30 mls when it should be empty complete ???

I have a 1000 miles on my rally. Generally get 32 to 33 miles per gallon but on one tank doing 50 to 60 miles an hour with a slight tail wind, actually got 40 miles a gallon.

"Performance" does not mean MPG. Nor even HP. Simply means lack of pinging or knocking during hard acceleration.
-
Oh, and my range per tank usually runs 165ish.
