Side Swing Arm Rests
Looking at purchasing passenger arm rests for my RT. I like the looks of the side swinging armrest type but don't know what keeps them from side swinging when going around corners. Any input from the group that own this style? Thanks.

We had a set from Rivco on our first Spyder. They do not offer any type of "security" for the passenger. They only add support for the arms...They don't "lock" into position if that's what you're asking. That's the only brand we've had. None on the 2016 yet. BRP makes the flip up style which I think would offer a bit of a "security" feeling.

I recently installed a pair. Just tighten the pivot bolt to the way you like it, then tighten the set screw to keep it that way.

Purchased ours from Ultimate Seats, for our 2014 RT, which I believe is the Rivco product. I installed them and they don't swing out on curves or turns..

I ordered Show Chrome Arm Rests from Amazon. You'll need to remove the seat to bolt the base plates to the frame. If you decide to go this route PM me and I'll help you with a few tricks.
