    Default Side case capacity

Does anyone know how many liters capacity there is in one side case on the 2014 RT LTD?
I can find specs of 155 liters total but I just need to know the capacity of 1 side case.

    Thanks.

They are different on each side.

Do you know what capacity on left and right?

Since you know the total, measure the depth dimensions of both at the rear vertical side of both. They are both nominally 24 cm deep measure and compute the volumes of the inward bulges on the left one and you'll probably come close to 155/2 minus the bulge volume of the left one. Hopnel soft side bags solve the problem; you just put less in the left one.

    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

I'll have to disagree with your formula. 155 total liters includes both side bags, the front trunk and the back.

Thought you were talking just side case capacity. Measure the dimensions of right side case, including the cover indentation, Compute volume, double it and subtract the left case bulge volume. Yes, you're probably going to be dealing in nominal volume but, as I said soft side bags easily solve the packing problem. What is your accuracy standard? Remember too you can use nets on the covers to hold things that always stay on the bike. For example, my seat rain cover is held in the left case cover with an elastic net. Remember too that the primary consideration from BRP is weight capacity of each compartment, not volume.
