Wife and I motorcycled that area on a rented BMW K1200LT. Rode all the countries contiguous with the Aps and Dolomites. Klausen Pass from Germany to Switzerland was our favorite - not because it was challenging (it wasn't) but because it was the most beautiful. In Austria, our favorite lodging in Feichten at the Fichtenhof in the Kaunertal Valley. Had great food wherever we roamed - not one bad meal. We could go back and do that again in a heartbeat. But on a Spyder, knowing now how much more fun that are.
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.
