I’m a big advocate for the Fumoto oil drain valves and have been using them for decades..! I wasn’t sure there was enough room to fit a valve in these machines..?! They are a well made product and make dumpling your oil effortlessly..!

Clearance may be the killer issue. One parking lot speed bump and you could be in serious trouble.

I put paper towel between the belly pan and the engine on the crankcase plug side and have never had any problem with waste oil collecting in the top side of the belly pan.

Does Fumoto have one that has the double O-ring setup like the BRP plug? There has to be an internal motor reason why they use that, so not using that could be very $ way to find out.

The ground clearance is going to be an issue ………….. Also the FUMOTO Doesn't have any magnets to catch metal Debris !!!!! while the oil is circulating ……. I think the magnet is worth having ……….jmho …… Mike

    Default Not on a bike....

They are great and have used them on the cars but not on a bike. Even though I have the front end up 2" higher I still have tell-tale marks on the bumpskid and bottom panels. Mostly from how and where I ryde. There are always the odd road hazard you may have to strattle that could snag anything lower than the pans. Now some ryders that do more touring and freeway on flatlands would be comfortable barring the occational road aligator but I like the bottom of the spyder flush like a snowboard. JMO they do make oil change neater and easier. I have the dimple plugs and those suckers leap out of your fingers with the earth magnets... especially the oil tank one.

Fumoto does not make one for the 1330 engine with its double o-ring plug. (that drains the engine sump and the oil tank at the same time)

Yes, there's more to a 1330's oil plug(s) than just simply being an oil plug.
