Can i use 20-50 valvoline mc oil in this one-been using synthetic twice the price and i change every 3k anyway.

Mostly for the cooler climate areas the lower weight oil is better but you can use that oil. Make sure it meets the spec's in the owners manual and you will be fine. See if Valvoline has other weights more to the recommended spec's. You can also go longer between oil changes especially synthetic.
