Default Flag post for the CB antenna receptacle?

    Hello,

Does anyone know of a flag post that could fit in the antenna receptacle on the left of the back trunk? Thanks.

Mounting a small flag there is a cool idea. Sadly, under the plastic cover and bodywork, on tne left side is no antenna mount. The provision is provided in the molded plastic, however, the actual mount itself is not there.

If you care to add the mount, purchase the mount from the right side, plus the associated mounting hardware. Initially, when I was planning to add the second antenna, my thought was to keep cost low and make the stuff myself. After pricing the oem right side mount, while not free, the cost was low enough I just purchased the parts.

Interesting. So I assume the right and left mounts would be the same. So if I add a mount on the left, where do I find a flag pole that fits?

This is going to be a silly question, but can I just stick a small flag on the existing radio antenna?

    Thanks!

That's an option. How does that install? Any drilling or removing parts needed? Thank you.

The antenna base that the antenna screws into is a solid brass block with a female threaded hole for the antenna. The block could be easily resized to fit whatever flag you have.

The other type that are linked in previous posts are common and a good choice also.
