I have a 75 year old back rest but she won't ride with me all the time. Can't do Sport mode with her anyway.

Wow what did you do? There are plenty of us who would love ❤️ to install that driver backrest on a 2 up. Please let us know.

    Can-Am has a new product - a riders backrest.

Yes, new for the 2020 model. But it won't work with a passenger seat, which is what a lot of us are looking for.

Will your driver backrest work with passenger seat? If so, please provide more details as this is what a lot of us are looking for.

Wow!, that looks like the ticket. Could you please provide more info as to what it is and where to get? I'm sure there are many who would like to know.

There is a new driver back rest out for 2 up riders. Slingmods just came out with it. Too late for me this riding season but for you warm weather riders, this may be just what you need.

This won't work "bolt on" if you have the Rally though due to the splash guard. You will either have to take the splashguard off or cut a major hole in it. I actually ordered this as soon as it went live and will be returning it since I didn't want to modify the splashguard. I really appreciate slingmods's efforts to make aftermarket parts, but they should have disclosed this in the video and product page.

I have the driver and passenger comfort seats as well. It would work with the driver comfort seat, but the backrest would be very tight with the passenger comfort seat since it is shaped differently than the normal passenger seat.

I'll modify my splashguard. Its a lot easier to do that instead of waiting for someone to come up with one that works across all of them .

Can you post some pictures of your install when complete?

You'll have to wait until next spring. My ryker will be getting tucked into bed soon so I'm not spending the money right now.

It also does not work if you have the BRP saddle bag mounted. The Slingmods backrest uses the same holes for mounting. I am returning mine also.

Slingmods stubbornly refuses to admit the new two-up backrest won't fit the Rally because of what Planters49 mentioned above. I had installed the plastic rally inner fender on my ACE 900 (can't remember why) and there is no way the installatlion can be done. Words to the wise!

All my riding gear has body armor in the back ... i have no issues leaning against my Linq 21 top case ... the same applies with the passenger comfort seat fitted. Everybody has different riding ergonomics, what works for one may not work for another.
