Now there was one of those TP moments.

That also happened to me in about 1968 while riding along Minnesota's famous North Shore Drive. It follows Lake Superior and has high banks in many areas. A military fighter jet who's pilot I assumed was "hot rodding" around the lake on a training flight...came up from nowhere, over the bank and continued merrily on his way back to the base. There was a good 50 ft or so clearance above me....but to close for comfort.

Back in 1977 I was tooling down the road in my Brand New Datsun Pickup and a adult male peacock flew out of the ditch and was so close that my antenna hit his tail feathers, my wife dang near had a heat attack! all you could see was Peacock !

What's interesting is that the driver never even slowed down.... can't see the whole area but seems you would see something like that coming your way....but a hard sell on the telling anyone....
