Daylight Savings
Is it just me that takes about 4 days to get used to the loss of an hour?
Taking a page from Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham (with apologies to Dr. Seuss)

Bummer.....
I can adapt to the hour change what bugs me is the change in the daylight.... It is a shame as it has no purpose but to cause a nightmare of logistics for everyone. Now with some states not doing it it becomes even more of a problem. Seems it should be a countrywide deal

In addition to all the other tomfoolery the Oregon legislature has come up with this session, is a bill to go onto daylight time PERMANENTLY! So half the year, we will be out of sync with the rest of the country, except for the states on Mountain Time. Aaargh!
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

My .02, I really can't understand what all the fuss about daylight savings time is about ….. Folks you do realize that any and all transcontinental travelers deal with this on a daily basis, and the difference for them is many hours not just one . Also folks who travel abroad feel it even more.....Please, we need to get over it …… jmho …. Mike

WI is considering keeping the time in Daylight Savings year round. I like the idea, cuz I like the idea of the extra daylight in the evenings. Not real sure what all the fuss is about, but I do agree, that it should be an across- the-country change if anything happens. Maybe we could reduce the number of time zones in the US to help reduce confusion....LOL

There is always going to be 24 hours in a day. Some are dark and the rest are light and always changing. What's the problem??

Glad to not have to mess with it as we don't have it in AZ except for a part of Indian Reservation in NE part of the state. The biggest problem is knowing when we can check into motels when we are on summer tours. We don't change the time on our watches and always have to ask desk clerks what time it is locally..... Sun comes up, we get ready and ride. Sun goes down, we stop for a cocktail and supper..... Jim

Takes me no time to get use it. It is nice to the day light when I get out of work. I go to work when it dark( starting my work shift at 6:00 am), and when I get out of work it is day light.

Been there and done that.
What time the clock says it is has pretty much NOTHING to do with it.
Farmers live by the SUN, not by the clock.
The change was initially made to allow urban dwellers more time to "play in the sun" after they get off of work.

16 hour days pretty much have you leaving the house, and returning to it: in the dark.
The concept of time was only useful, in that they needed to set their alarms clocks to go off at some point.
