It's so weird but when Winter is over in Florida, it frequently gets too hot to ryde. What must life be at the Equator where the temperatures hardly ever vary?

Go to Quito, Ecuador some time. It's located right on the equator and before I went there (March 2018), I expected it to be hot -- but things are not always what they seem. The high when I was there was mid-60s. At 9350' elevation, Quito's highest average "high" temperature is in September at 72.1 degrees F. Several months of the year the "high" never even reaches 70. Fortunately it rarely drops below 49 degrees F. Beautiful city, seems to have a lot of $$$ around there, a great climate and roads that look ideal for Spyder ryding -- but it's earthquake-prone and the elevation takes some getting used to. Even Guayaquil, Ecuador, which is nearly at sea level, reaches its highest annual temperature in March and it's only 90. The humidity there does make it feel a lot hotter. I just spent the month of January in Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Of those countries, Singapore was by far the hottest because it had the highest humidity -- but none of those countries are as close to the equator as Ecuador.
