    Default 2015 F3S passenger armrest

I have a 2015 f3S. I also have the smooth spyder adjustable backrest on it. ( the one you can use by yourself or if you have a passenger). My wife was wondering if it were possible to put the arm rest on it with the back rest. I told her I don't know but will try to find out. I have seen the price of the arm rest. Seems kind of expensive if they do not work. I d o n to know if I am wanting to shell out that much money on something that might or might not work. Any one ever try this? Anyone have the armrest for sell? I contacted the owner of smooth spyder and he said her had seen pics of it done before and he also said with longer bolts and the factory grab handles that it should work. Thanks in advance

I do not know for sure, but I would think that it should work if you use longer bolts. Now, with the F3T or Limited, they might not work. I say this because the longer bolts might push things out too far, and the saddle bag doors might not shut. Hopefully someone who has tried it on a F3S will chime in.

I'm putting these on my F3 Limited because they are not as intrusive as the OEM's are (they don't swing out much), clamp to the passenger grips so you don't loose them, and cost about half of the OEM ones.

I might get these. I have seen these before but did not research them. I like the idea that I most likely could put them on and take them off rather easy if I wanted too. My wife doesn't ride with me that much.
