    Default Master cylinder kit

I've looked all over, but cannot find a brake master cylinder rebuild kit. Has anyone come across one. I have a 2011 RTS.

Looking at the parts diagram it appears that since the reservoir is separate from the tandem master cylinder BRP doesn't make any kind of kit to rebuild it but will hose you for the individual parts. OTOH, depending upon the problem one needs only to replace the culprit part(s), like a leaking 8 mm hose. Don't see any kind of O-ring seal on the piston rod although it may be an integral part.

    Default Interesting....🤔

Looking at the parts breakdown I don't see any internal parts at all. All they offer is the tandem master as a unit for $265.00 at cheapcycleparts.com

That's the issue. I want to rebuild the cylinder with new internal components. A typical automobile rebuild kit costs $10 - $15. I just hate to buy an entire unit when it is not necessary.

You could probably source the individual seals but would have to take apart the master cylinder to measure them.

I just looked on Ebay and found that there are several for sale. One from an 2011 RT for $40.

I have just suggested a substitute parts thread where we could share information on non OEM solutions to problems like this. Good luck with your repair and please let us know how it went.
