Fuel efficiency on the cluster

Is the fuel efficiency read out on the cluster cumulative or instantaneous? It seems like it gives a new reading every minute or so and I'm wondering if that is a cumulative reading since last reset or if that is simply the current fuel consumption?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Average since the last reset. Their algorithm is weird though because it starts over at zero each reset. I find miles to empty to be more practical information.

I would vote for current.Mine goes from50mpg downhill off throttle to 18 going back up!Seems like a useless feature other than good for a laugh! 18RT
