    I think the idea is, he does not want to pay retail.

    I purchased mine a long time ago but just got around to installing it the other day. I have not ridden it yet. Between weather and business requirements I have not had time. But I made a bit of a twist to my install. I just can't resist the urge to modify things. Even if they are a great product to begin with.

    At least some of the noise from this mod comes from air going over the sharp edge on the intake plate. Installing these intake vortex pieces should smooth the air flow. It theoretically should flow more air as well. I don't really expect to get any seat of the pants improvement. But then again, who knows?
