Default Replacing dash gauge - what do I need?

Ok so here's my goal: I want to replace the gas gauge on my RT with a voltmeter/usb charger, it's almost identical to this - https://www.amazon.com/LiDiVi-Waterp.../dp/B01M0GR0FQ

I realized it's not the same size as the gauge (52mm), so what would be the best and easiest way to make it a good fit?

    1. Buy a blank gauge cover, measure and cut out an opening and fit it in the cover then install into the dash?

    2. I know JT's has a dash gauge power product - http://spyderstore.com/index.php?rou...&product_id=62, but will the charger/voltmeter I bought fit in that piece, or do I need further modification?

    3. Is there another option I don't know about?

I looked through the forum and searched but haven't really found the answer I was looking for. Hoping some of you fine folks can help me out

I bought 2 52mm blanks from an online store, forgot the name. They are more than just face plates.Check out marine suppliers.

In my case, I drilled out a 1" hole to mount the USB unit and I also replaced the other gauge with a 12v outlet. I used the factory plugs for power and just inserted the bare wire into the correct holes. Worked for me, not elegant but functional.

I already bought a blank, so I can just cut a 1" hole and it should fit. Do you think you can post a pic of yours so I can see what the end result looks like?

    Thanks!

I can try. The Spyder is in a storage locker during the snowy season. I'll snap a pic tonight.
