This isn't something I've ever heard of happening ….. the VSS is triggered because the Spyder has gone almost past it's G-Force ability ( in turns )….. once that is no longer present the VSS returns to normal ….. good luck ….. Mike
I have triggered the VSS in many occasions and it has always cleared up after ryding on or stoping and restarting the ryde. Hope someone with the buds system and more knowing of its works can help out.

The button you are pointing to is not for resetting VSS, its for selecting the Spyder variant (RS, GS, ST, RT) the VSS is programmed for. VSS does not require a reset to clear codes, you have to clear the problem that is causing the code. Looking further at the BUDS screen you are on, a steering angle of 79.5 deg is far beyond the normal range. I think you have a problem there but cannot be sure with the limited information you have given.
Still, the button you are pointed at is not for you to mess with. I don't think its active except in the Megatech version anyway.
did you by any chance have an alignment done where they did not do a reset ..?? Some alignment places do not have the buds and do not reset and cause this kind of problem....

What could be occurring here - is the DIFFERENT ( ie year )..( not the original that came with the spyder ) VSS you have needs to be calibrated onto this different Spyder computer system ???? ………. JC Thorne may have some input on this as a possibility ( send Him a PM ) ………. I believe the Spyder computers sort of TALK to each other ?? ……. the issue may be that the original sytem isn't recognizing this different VSS unit ??? ….. good luck …. Mike
