It's already tonight here in Oz, so we're chilling cold drinks in the fridge & turning the A/c onto MAX COLD..... going to be 45°+ C tomorrow.... again!! And the expected Min overnight is gonna be hanging up around 35°C  And here I was thinking I was escaping the worst of the heat by taking a bit of a break in the Highlands! It's only gonna be 24° C at home tomorrow! 
Could someone send some of that Cold you'all getting down this way please?

LOL, my son is going to school in ND and classes are cancelled until who knows. He sent a short video last night of he and his roomies going outside with cups of boiling water throwing it in the air and watching it hit the ground frozen.

It's all my fault------- My flashed ECU is being shipped out of Canada bringing with it all this record cold weather. Being a west coast kid, the coldest I've experienced was -12 and a -24 wind chill. I really feel the pains of of much of the populace with these super cold temps.

We were on the edge of the Polar Vortex, here in Vermont. We had wind chills warnings out from last night until this morning.
Temp is 2 (above zero) feels like -14. But this weekend the temps in 20's and 30's.
Next week the forecast is rain, and temps in the 40's.

Just got through watching some news videos about the cold. As I sit here at my desk with the sun shining, I actually started to feel cold and got goosebumps. Power of suggestion I guess. Don't even want to go into what the weather is like here or talk about the great ryde I had yesterday. If I did, the hate mail would probably overwhelm my computer. Just hope everyone is staying safe and warm...... Jim
