    Default Trailer for my RT

Been off the board for a few days having to deal with other stuff like buying a new motorhome and finding a trailer to haul my Spyder. Found a great one made by ALUMA. It is all aluminum, model MC210. This was designed for 2 motorcycle so I had to install some anchor points since the built in ones did not line up properly for a Spyder. Did my first 2500 miles trip pulling the bike. No problem whatsoever. I will be going to Spyderfest in April and hope to see some of you there.

I have the Aluma UT-10 trailer. It is almost identical to yours, but mine also has an integral tool box in the front of the vee which is great for carrying all the necessary accessories. Mine has four anchor points on the corners and one swivel anchor point in the front center. Same ramp as yours that stows in/under the trailer bed. My only issue is that the front of my bump skid bottoms out when loading on level ground, so I have a couple of 2x6's that carry in the tool box that I put at the bottom of the ramp when loading to "pre-lift the front wheels. Did a 1500 mile round trip this summer with it. Pulls great! Curious as to what type of anchor points you added and how they installed. I am considering the same for an alternate way to tie down my RTL.

Nice Bigmo. I just emailed IronHorse again about any used inventory in stock. They want $9k for a new one...” Plus Freight”. So I’m guessing it will be about $11k after freight/taxes etc. Unfortunately I need an enclosed trailer and I prefer all aluminum, a friend recommended Blizzard but they don’t have any in stock, takes 6-9 weeks to build. I was hoping to own a trailer by February 15th so I can drive down to Florida for winter break (I still have kids in school). I believe I saw an Aluma Trailer Dealer in CT, I’ll check to see if they have any enclosed in stock.
So thank you for the review Bigmo, I appreciate it. best of luck w it.
    Jarred.

Used D-Ring rated 3600Lbs each. 2 for each front wheels. I used the built in rings for the rear. From Northern Tools. Make sure you use a heavy (3/16") plate as large as you can fit in the bottom to spread the load. Works great for me. I also installed a tool box, diamond plate, matches the trailer. @Boilermaker, I have the same issue with the bottom of the bike dragging while loading/unloading. I use a piece of 2X4 as wide as the ramp underneath. I keep it on the trailer bolted with a couple of large butterfly bolts.

And I also have a UT-10 but do not use it to transport the Spyder. It is used for the Polaris Ranger and the Can AM Maverick.

I have a LOOK enclosed V-Nose to transport the Spyder with Spyder Clamps.

I had an Aluminum welding shop weld on more OEM tie downs and a small 6 inch sliding removable tail gate. I do like the slide in ramp.Much less drag when towing and noticeable increase in gas mileage.

I have an Aluma 6810 Tilt trailer. Not sure how to put the picture on here but it is outstanding!
