There is no nudity allowed, no racist content, there will be some swearing in the jokes itself, but the rules are well designed to curb that.
As for the political posts, there will probably be some, but it’s not a forum to have political battles/discussions either, that’s why there are plenty of mods to keep an eye on this particular forum, there will be one more added today, he will be in charge of that forum & off topic, he is a newer member to the site, so he will be a standard forum moderator only, not a super moderator like the others are.

Official Complaint filed...………………….. New rule 8 added today is contradicting rule of rule 7
You can have a political Joke, but discussing politics of a rule violation ????????? Wouldn't a political joke be discussing politics ??????
I'm not sure who is making these rules, but clarification is definitely needed.
I can't go three hours without new rules and changes being added. I would recommend posting a thread called the NEW NEW RULES so we all can keep up to speed in these hourly new rule changes.

The joke forum isnt a discussion forum, its for posting jokes, some might have a curse word in them, one might be about the prez, one might be dirty in another way.....
This forum is for users to have a good time, who hang out on the site all day & want to let off steam with a good laugh.
If i dont like president jokes then im clearly not going to read jokes that have a title related to the word president.
If i dont want to read jokes that might offend me, im certainly not going to enter a joke forum with the rules & descriptions clearly defined in the first post.

Oh, i forgot, im denying your complaint, i wont modify rule 7 or 8.
You're lucky i didnt add rule 9, which was going to be "meme wars allowed" as long as they're clean per the rules that you agreed to in post one.
I could just imagine what you would have said about that rule...

For those following along...……………
If you post a political joke that could be considered a political discussion as per personal interpretation, you could be banned …… Good luck folks , Im staying away from that forum !!!!!!!

Im glad you figured that out on your own Holly, i didnt want to explain it again.

Just a thought...... And, please excuse my terminology. Computer-speak is not my first language. How about having the Joke Forum available to all members to click on. Then when a member clicks on it, they are required to fulfill the required age and sensitivity criteria, read the rules, etc...... And, they could then stipulate that they don't want to go through that process again (or not). My reasoning for this is that newer members may not have any other way to know that the joke forum exists. Just a thought.....Jim

Everyone seems to have wanted to keep using the joke thread, per request it was kept in off topic, its posted here in a previous thread Jim.
Id also not want anyone getting confused in this manner & posting something inappropriate in a public joke forum, which was removed before due to issues with it by Lamont.
I just want some of the members to have a place to blow off steam, instead of taking it out on other users in the forum.
Its to have fun in, not discuss a joke because someone dont like it.

Randy, This is much easier than you think...
They are just jokes. Post them, read them, and move on...

To many rules, to many moderators?
Sounds more like you two are just mad because you can’t run amuck anymore, create issues & then complain because you don’t get your way.
The real problem is that you quoted his post ER, the fact that holly believes that posting a joke constitutes a discussion on said joke, to have a discussion, some one must reply to said joke & an ensuing disagreement starts between the two or more posters.

All this discussion (complaints) about jokes ???? Take it easy and move on, life is too short.

And now we can add too many assumptions to the list. WAY too many.
I don't think that posts like this exhibit the proper attitude for a moderator/administrator.
Maybe we need a rule about that.

it’s not an assumption, it’s what you constantly do & it’s a proven fact, you’ve been warned a few times by the mods about it as well by myself in PM.
I don’t see where calling you out for what you’re doing as an attitude.
