Ryker Heat Issues?
Probably a bit early to ask this question but being a 2013 RTL owner, I gotta ask. Any excessive heat issues with the Ryker?

Your right....
Is a bit soon but so far have not heard mention of any heat problem. Don't expect to either as it is set up pretty well.

I was concerned about the same thing with the exhaust being under the seat. The warmest day I have ridden yet was 75 F and I did not feel any heat. Time will tell; it gets hot here in Texas.

I have experienced the opposite problem. LOL It was about high 30s-low 40s and it seemed like it took an extended time to reach proper operating temp. cueman

The other day when I was 2-up riding my Rally in a pasture, the cooling fan turned on twice for approximately 15-20 seconds each time.

Well when mine lands here in South Australia - it's gonna have to deal with 42º Celsius - so I'll let everyone know how she goes

Just purchased the 900 cc Ryker ! Have ridden it about 130 miles thus far. So far no heat issues but then again- it is no summer yet in Arizona.

Ryker Heat Issues?
With all those "air vents" built in, there should be zero heat issues.

Zero heat issues with the Ryker. You're going to have to depend on Al Gore and Global Warming, I'm afraid.

I am feeling some heat on my ankles and lower legs now that riding temperatures are in the 90's. Mine is a Rally model with the skid pad under the engine

I have yet to hear my radiator fan come on here in S FL.

You will feel the heat. When you do just go faster! cueman

I've been wondering about the heat issues. There were a number of posts about overheating issues on one of the forums back in the spring. I can't find the thread right now but I think they were having issues in 50F conditions?!
