Default 2008 GS Premiere Edition 452

Just thought I'd say hello since it's been a long time since I visited this forum. Spyder 452 is alive and well with about 25K miles. I made a few mods that were popular in the first few years but it gets to a point when it's finished & you move on to something else. I haven't had any problems with the bike and it still runs great. I've been tempted to let it go and get an F3 but I keep remembering that I always wanted to get in on the first edition of a new bike. I was working for Kawasaki when the Z1 came out but didn't have the money for it at the time and that was one of the reasons I bought the GS. I ride it now and then but I have other bikes and sports cars and they all need to get some miles on them. I hope you all are enjoying the Spyder no matter what configuration as much as I have.
    Cheers

Thank you so much for the update on your 08 GS Premiere. I also had an 08 GS--but not the Premiere. I did love that bike. Mine was traded off in 2010 when the RT's came out. I did get a Premier Edition #474 then.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on, but my Premiere Edition 1013 with 27k on her is still part of my stable. It was the favorite ride of my wife of 57 years, who just recently went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ in His eternal kingdom. It’s really hard to ride the Spyder without her because we put on most of those miles together. She loved that tryke. I enjoy my 2003 HD Ultra Classic Trike, but I will keep and ryde “our” Spyder forever.

My Premier Edition #238 is on the trickle charger with almost 10,000 miles on her. Fast light and fun!
