RT 1330 Spark plug change
HELP ANYONE:
I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my 2014 1330 RT.
I've got as far as trying to remove the primary air box (front one), I've undone the 2 bolts at the back and the 2 at the front through the aluminium bar, flipped off all hoses that I can see, lifted headlamp cable away, made sure all cables and wires are not obstructing, now I should be able to wiggle the air box out of the left side of the frame, it's very loose but it won't come out. Do I really have to remove the Frunk?, it looks like the airbox should now ease out of it's space but I can't see what's holding it, Do I need to remove headlamps and frame, can't see what else to remove as I have a clear sight all round of the airbox, once the airbox is out the rest looks easy and convential.
Sorry can't post any photos of how far I've got, something screwy with my computer.
Any help would be grateful
Thanks in advance
Alex

You have to pull it out the right side, not left. Maybe my experience and pics will help. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...angeout-Part-1

You stated that you removed the bolts to the aluminum bar, but did you remove the bar? I know I had to.

I just saw this, so sorry if it's too late. The airbox separates into 2 pieces. You have to reach inside and then separate the two halves. It's been about 2 years since I did mine, so I don't remember the exact details of how it's connected. I want to say it was snapped together with a retainer. It was self evident once you looked inside the air box.
