BEEN DOWN FOR A FEW WEEKS.
Haven't had a chance to post for the past 3 weeks or so. I tend to get UTI infections. Sometimes it's a week in the hospital, out of it. This time was able to stay home with full time care. Balance, falling and crazy thinking are the main thing in older men. Just not good to mix blood and urine in the brain. Thanks to antibiotics, I'm out of a wheel hair, can dress and feed myself. Every day is better. For those who have had a UTI, you understand. The shop is still up and running, but anxious to get back to it.
Happy New Year, and ride in comfort in 2019.
John

I had one that turned to septicemia. I darn near croaked. They need watching like a hawk. My urologist gives me a new prescription for Levaquin when I see him every 6 months. Tells me to start taking it at the very first sign.
Glad you are on the mend or have mended .

Not to make light of the situation: it clearly is some pretty serious business!
But is this why it's often called "Cleaning one's pipes"?

As a younger man, I had a very different meaning for "cleaning out one's piped." Did my best to keep them clean.
