    Default 600

Anyone done any riding or testing of the 600? I know the 900 is the engine of choice, but curious about the 600's performance.

This is the only thing I could find that offers a side by side comparison of the two. Not a whole lot of info.

Someone bought one and posted a great write up on the 600. Here's the link and it's from one of our

    Default There you go....

As I see it is mostly just the bigger engine. So the performance will be less as one can expect. Otherwise the same Ryker....

The 600 is a great engine, and the "littler" bike will still appeal to a lot of riders.

600 is only .7 slower to 37 mph and 2.9 slower to 62 mph. If I didn't have a F3 and was New to the Sport I would probably get a 600 But I need the 900 to be comparable to the F3 I have. The 600 should get good mileage.

In the two wheel world, 95% of the riders will never use the potential of a 600cc rocket. I imagine the same for the riker. I bet a 600 with a turbo would run circles around a 900. Look forward to more innovation!

ryker is a 600 c.c. ? ( can-am getting the young crowd hooked and set the hook with the up line f-3`s in later years of the rider ! 6oo will not be enough ! the need for a 990 will supersede , then they will hop on one of the 1330`s and it is off too the race )

Base model is 600cc twin, about 47 hp. Upgrade is a 900cc triple, about 70hp. Whether or not that is enough power is dependent on many factors. Might not be for you but it might be for me. I'd like to ride them both.

You should be able to test drive both. It may have to be at 2 different dealers if one only has a 900 demo and the other only has a 600 demo. Most dealers only have one demo and some don't have any available at all- Search until you get to ride both!
