Sportscasters attire
Watching some of the football bowl games I noticed just how uncomfortable the sportscasters look in their suits. I wore a business suit most of my adult working life. Most were well fit and all-day comfortable. That was in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. In the 90s and beyond it became more common to do "casual" dress. Now, the new suits look like body scluptured jackets. I challenge any one of them to sctatch their head without splitting the armpit seam. Just doesn't look like they are "in their element". And besides, when did it become OK to wear snekers with a suit? (Howie Long excepted) Damn, I'm getting old..... Jim

Fashion is fickle. I'll bet fat ties and long collars will be back in vogue some day. At least I hope so....

Here's my next pair of Camper's; it's like messing up and wearing a different color sock on each foot.

I just wanted to toss this out here before Ak shuts it down. I know you are one of the boss men, but maybe you might want to consider just deleting a post and not the whole thread. Just another thought, maybe a 3 strike rule.
We usually do not delete threads any more. Threads will get closed and left for all to see if they want. A warning has been made. If people want to play nice...then no problem. Infighting and name calling are not tolerated. It's up to those doing it. If it continues--then poof!

Hi Bob,
Re: "personal attacks" thing
Not one thing in my post was a personal attack.
It was a question to him and a comment on his insulting post.

But we sure can still delete them. We'd rather not, because there may still be some very good information in other posts within it.
