I hope to join the club next summer when I reach the ripe old age of 62. No sense in procrastinating retirement. I spend my spare time planning the Spyder trips and events I will attend in the coming years.

Congratulations! I've tried retirement three times, it hasn't taken yet. Cut down to part time this year, maybe in a couple of years I'll try again. In the meantime, make your plans quick, before everyone finds out you "have nothing to do" and fill up your time for you...

Question for all you new retirees!

Do you know what the single-most common medical malady is that afflicts retirees???

Like most, I found the retirement life to be fuller than I could ever believe. Just don't know how I ever had time to hold down a job. After 14 years I (almost) don't even have time for a rocking chair. Hope you enjoy yours. Your time is now for you. Welcome to childhood, senior version..... Jim

Others have hit on it, and from my experience, they are absobloodylutely correct in that once you're retired, you'll be busier than you've ever been before! The trick of it all is to make sure that you keep busy doing the stuff YOU want to do or like!! I've 'retired' at least 4 more times since I officially retired, and I still hafta work hard finding the time to ryde & do all the stuff I thought I'd be doing a whole lot more of once I got outta the rat race!

Enjoy your retirement, and all the best keeping focussed on your preferred activities!

Just don't forget 'You don't get old and stop riding, you get old because you stop riding!'
