Air Bag Question

When I leave the bike sitting a couple of weeks, I check the airbag pressure and it is low. I add air but it's usually not a lot. I go to about 50 lbs (I think). In for service (camshaft sensor failed. part on order) I was told that when the bike sits, it just normally leaks down but when I start the engine, it pressurizes the bag. I have the plain vanilla 2014 RT and truthfully don't know if it pressurizes or not. The importance is where the headlights aim. Creature comfort is secondary.
So, does the RT pressurize the air bag or not? Would that be only t he high priced spread?

I have a base model RT and NO the airbag does not pressurize when engine is started. All adjustments are made at the valve under the seat. I ride mainly two up and set mine at 60 psi and it does a pretty good job of holding that pressure. It will fluctuate with temperature changes, but not much.

The plain model has a valve under the seat where you can pressurize the bag. 50# is about right for most.

I don't check our 2011 often enough, but when I check, it gets re-pressurized.

The S and L models have the automatic system. You can stiffen or lessen the pressure by a switch on the dash panel. A gauge shows where you are.
