If you have squeaky breaks and you are under warranty take it to dealer and have them fix it. It should be a warranty issue. If no warranty go to NAPA and get a tube of anti squeal and put on back of pads. Should help.

Even cars have light scraping noises coming from the disc brakes sometimes.......you just can't hear it from inside.
Other owners have said: "Probably normal".
Now a mechanic has said the same thing.

One more thing that hasn’t been mentioned is that when brakes are made they are sprayed with an epoxy on the metal side to keep them from rusting and if that spray gets on the edge of the pad it may cause a squeak, scuff or chirp noise. Also sometimes the pad itself has a little too much metallic content which usually can be seen upon inspection of pad.I would advise to swap the pads from left to right and see what happens.

FWIW my scuffing noise was said to be metal on metal due to worn left brake pad. Both pads were replaced and no scuffing noise. I will say the noise never sounded like the noise you get with car brakes.
