As to the windshield motor... if you can or have someone who can check it out and fix the problem then fix it. In this market there seems to be only one test...good or replace. Back home I would take it out and take it to an electriction and have it fixed... assuming that it is the motor and not a connection, switch or fuse problem. Check everything before you go to the motor...
