Boiled custard? That's a delicacy I've yet to encounter.

The stuff in cartons at the grocery store is NOT eggnogg. Well, a pretty poor imitation.

Been using Alton Brown's recipe using a vitamix to cook the eggs into a custard as part of the preparation for MANY years, then some good Jim Beam.

A cup of the real stuff along with a slice of our family fruit cake IS Christmastime.

Egg Nog here. The added "kicker" cures the store bought factor.

I have recipe for eggnog that is great but I seems I can’t attach a photo anymore on this website. I get the ‘invalid file’ notice. I also can’t click on ‘reply to thread’ anymore either. I’m using an iPad.
