Windshield 2016 F3L
I am looking at a new windshied for my 16 F3L.. the stock one is just not working for me. I have heard good things on the Lamonster and would like to see if anyone has it on their Spyder.. Also wonder if they have a return policy I didn't see anything referring to that on their Website??

I have to agree about the wind shield on the F3L has a lot to be desired. I have a 2017 F3L and just purchased a 22 inch Madstad windshield. I went with them because the windshield is adjustable. I would hate to purchase a new shield and it not be at the right height I was looking for. The Madstad has a little adjustment to either lower it or raise it. I haven't received the new shield as yet but will report back my findings.

Yes I have a 2017 f3L. Mounted a 19” smoked from Lamonster Garage really like it. If you don’t take the plastic film off it you can return it.

I like the Madstad, adjustable therefore works best.

I've had my 22" MadStad Engineering adjustable for 2 weeks now. Its a vast improvement over the stock F3-L windshield. Angled back and raised up, it reduces buffeting to a minimum - barely noticeable on most rides on the interstate. Money well spent.

I have the F4 Customs 21” tinted with the vent for the past 2 years on my F3L. I am 5’ 8” and it has worked perfectly for me. Don and his team provide an excellent product as well as excellent customer service.

Here is the 15” Dark Smoked shield. Provides much more coverage, even on hands, and looks great. Price point is much better than other options I have seen. Note I am 5’8” and the 15” is perfect. I don’t much care for the looks of those really tall shields, but the 15 looks like it was made for the machine!

I had the Madstad windshield and didn’t like it my choice.I bought Lamonster windshield and like it.It gives better wind resistance, but everybody is different.I committed on other Windshield and people wanted to crucify me.I just didn’t like the Madstad......

F4 Customs has the best optics and sheds water easily. Great wind protection. And now has Air wings you can add to keep hands cool and warm as needed.

Have the Madstad, I really like it. Went from a rainy cool day in the spring on a stock to this, and it's a huge difference. Took the time to find the right angle and height for me, I like that option.

And just to further add choices you can take a look at Gustafsson www.bikescreen.com They have been in the business of making bike screens for 50 years. Running them on my F3s, F3T, and getting a custom for our RTs. Several of our local US Spyder chapter members have traded theirs out for Gustafsson as well. Zach made a custom one for Craig with the Road Warrior Foundation and that is what he used for the trip this year. Lots of options in terms of height, color, and cutouts. Worth a look (and the best choice in my opinion but as an owner of three I might be biased. )
