    Default Ryker Owners Manual Up!

    http://www.operatorsguides.brp.com/I...9-be74374845ee

    This Now up! Looks like-
    200 Mile Break-in
    3000 Recommended Dealer Check
6000 Mile oil change OR 1 Year
12,000 CVT Belt and Plug Change
Gear Oil stuff also involved along the line BUT All the stuff is relatively Easy to Do as Opposed to a Plug change on a Spyder?
Soon the parts Fiche should have names and Costs so we can see how much the Rally silver parts under the Radiator and beside the wheels will cost AS they can be added to the Normal 900 version!

CVT air filter threw me for a while, never knew there was such a thing never having had anything to do with this type of transmission before.Turns out the cvt components last longer with a dust free environment to work in,less belt, pulley wear etc.Never considered that would be a factor or at least only a minor one if it were so, so there you go learned something new today

Would not be surprised that the CVT Belt replacement interval will end up being longer after a good number are on the street under real world conditions.

Now the oil says SL,SJ,SN,SM 5-40 Synthetic OR BRP. Nothing about wet clutch, Jaso Rating needed or anything SO the oil choices will be plentiful?

These service intervals will likely rise as more miles are put on the Ryker. The spark plug interval is very short.

The oil change interval for the same engine in the snowmobile is 3000 miles. That's doubled in the Ryker. wonder why?

And the 900 in the Spark and GTI Skies take 2 quarts of oil while the 900 here takes 3.7 Quarts?

I wonder if the "key" has to be put onto the RF DESS post, or if the system can read it even when it's in your pocket.

There was a video somewhere that showed it being started with the "key" attached and then the rider pulled the key off the post and put it in his pocket.
