Not rubbing it in, but we'll hit the 60s tomorrow and then 70s on Friday and Saturday, so I'll definitely be ryding -- as far away from any area shopping malls as possible!

First big( ish)snow storm of the season predicted for Thanksgiving day. Just had my snow tires ( mounted on rims) put on yesterday. I'll be using them to go to close friends house.

Here (up here in AK, diggin in the cold, cold ground), the Spyders and Vulcan are in the garage, hooked up to the tenders, and sleeping until late March or so. We are going to have Thanksgiving here, so we don't have to go anywhere.
If you driving to other places, please be safe.

Forecast is 53o here tomorrow. If I can sneak away from momma's honey-do list, I'm planning a short ryde. Friday I have a Patriot Guard Riders mission for a 95 year old Army vet, but forecast is rain and 48o. Probably just drive the car for that. I don't do ryding in the cold like I used to.

Temperature is about 19 degrees (Fahrenheit) right now. But I picked up my Spyder from the shop yesterday afternoon so I’m considering riding it to Thanksgiving dinner. About an hour ride. But this weekend is supposed to be in the 50’s so I’ll definatly be riding all weekend.

I don't winterize anything on Two, now Three wheels. Batt tender and thats it, never know when I may go for a ride so its always ready. Fuel inj is so much better than carbs, then it was a necessity to winterize and drain them.
Just Fun to take short runs around town, heated grips, seat and Im cozy.
* I did a Polar Bear run on a Suzuki Hayabusa 20 degrees and sunny, group left before I got there and all went home 15 mins later due to the cold. I just rode 20 miles one way (warmed up) then back home 20 miles so I declaired myself the winner!
Right now gotta wait for Buck season to open - running all over next couple of days!!
-
I got in about 56 miles today as I took the long way to a friends house, then home and swapped bike for car to go family's house for the special evening. (Mom wouldn't go ion the bike) Temp was almost 70 and glad I took the car later as it rained on the way home.
