    Default 2010 RSS not starting!

    Hi Guys,

I had my spyder in the garage for about 2 months, I needed to jump start the battery to get it going. after riding for about half an hr, I Parked it and it would not start. I figured it could be the battery so I Tried to jump it again, but it did not work. So when I turn the ignition to start the bike, the bike resets and asks to press the M button, and then again and again. Could it be the starter is bad? anyone run into this issue?

Pull the battery & have it tested. May need a full charge properly. If is original battery it lasted a long time & needs replacing.

Have the battery tested. If it has a shorted or dead cell it may not respond to being jumped.

Agree with all the above posts. Battery needs a good saturation charge -- followed by a voltage and load test. I'm thinking you gonna need a new battery.

Half an hour ride is not enough to charge the battery. Is the battery original? Like others have said, fully charge the battery and have it load tested.

Also could be a loose connection at the battery.
But most likely the battery itself.

Most have reported positives about Yusa. Few have gone for the Pricy but lighter Li-Poly. It's all up to you, how many farkles are you going to power when the bike is not running .
Know Batteries +bulbs often offers discounts for online orders & will have one charged & ready when you pick it up.
