    Default Front tires

I have a 2017 F3L that I just replaced the rear tire with a car tire and
I am very happy as to how it rides. This brings up the question as
to what car tire would fit the front and clear everything.

    Recommendations greatly appreciated.

    Default Front tires

I have 24k on mine and I am considering going with Achilles ATR Sport 155/60/r15 according to tiresize.com they are a schosch taller and a little narrower. But tires will vary in size a little from one manufacturer to another.

I had Federal EVO 595, stock Spyder size, I found on amazon.com for $109 & change the pair delivered. Lamonster recommended at D3WR. Have 2K on them and like the way they perform at 18 psi but am still playing with pressure.

I've got continental contiprocontact. Great tire ridden 5000 miles on them... Made a huge difference.

Look at "Vredestein" tires. Some of us have switched to them with good results. Tom

I have 28,000 miles on the Hankook Ventus 175-55-15, I would buy it again.

We have installed a large number of sets of Yokohama front tires. Run them on our own bikes too. Great tire, lots of happy customers with them.

We prefer top tier, made in USA tires on our Spyders. Not chinese junk.

Why do you always put down other tires? What about the size Yokohamas you install on the front? That would be information others could use.

I do not see the glory in saving $20 to put up with second rate tires for the next 30,000 miles. My safety and the enjoyment of the ride is worth far more than that. Just do not see why so many are quick to hate the Kendas and yet go for yet another cheap chinese tire as a replacement. Tires are one place where the competition is high enough that you really do get what you pay for. And I just like supporting american workers and buy american made goods whenever it makes sense to do so. I will not use second string tires from third world countries on any of my vehicles.

We have tried most (not the Vredestein) of the other tires commonly used and each has tradeoffs. The only downside to the Yokos is the slightly higher cost. They truly are a great tire for this application. In the end, its just my opinion. You may not agree. That's fine, you are entitled to yours as well.

As far as the size, I have posted it many times. Yokohama Avid S34FA size 175/55/15 is a perfect fit on the Spyder with all 3 fender types.
