I am still in a state of shock, really has not kicked in yet.

It was a business decisoion to close the plant, and distrubution Center.

I hope you are able to find a new job - if you really have to.

Honestly as I get closer to retirement getting laid off is something I fear as I will most likely not look for another job. I plan to retire in July 2021 - staying to get the post retirement benefits primarily full insurance from 62-65.

If you don't stay in Vermont there are a lot of opportunities here in the West and SW for locations like Reno (already mentioned), Vegas, Phoenix/Tucson area, Salt Lake, many areas of TX, etc. The best to you.

Thanks, I am thinking about staying in the manufacturing sector.

They are giving us 2 months to find work. My final date of work: is Jan 4th, 2019, and I have 6 more years until retirement.

When I have more info. I'll post. It has been very stressful.
