    Default Lifting My 2012 RT?

I would like to lift my 2012 RT onto some rolling supports so I can move it around in my heated garage. The rolling supports are only 2 inches off the concrete floor but would allow me to move it sideways against the back wall (leaving some room from the wall) and still get the wife's car into the garage. I don't have a MC jack and was wondering if I could lift it one side & then the other under the A Arms Carefully! And then slide the rolling supports under the tires? I'm going to put a tennis ball on a string from the ceiling giving me a safety margin so when it touches the windshield it'll be in and still leave some walk around room. Do Able?

Yes, you'd have to buy three but they would avoid the jacking hassle.

I have an ATV jack that I lift the whole spyder with and set it down on 3 of the small harbor freight furniture movers. You could lift each front wheel up 2 inches or more using a 2x4 under the A arms but I don't know how you would get the back wheel up.

I saw the $600 Pitbull (I think) jack for the Spyder....looks very nice, but a bit more than I want to spend right now...I have a motorcycle lift, and was thinking I could get another one and use them both to gradually lift the Spyder to a workable height...I would also use jack stands of course...Anybody done something similar? or does it sound nuts?

It doesn't hurt anything to lift one side and then the other. If you are concerned about it you can go to the front of the Spyder and lift from there and get both sides at once then go to the rear and do it.I have used a scissors jack,an automotive floor jack, car ramps and a 2x4,and ATV/motorcycle jack. I have lifted one side at a time from the A arm mounting point just fine.

Thanks for the info! It's going to be a while until I need to lift it since we just got it...Will have to work on it when the wife is away...otherwise she will panic!
