    Default On line trip journals

Does anyone use or suggest a good free journal to keep track of trips with their Spyder Rides?

When we used to do wilderness canoeing, a simple book journal would accompany us. It was fun to make daily additions to the journal sitting around the campfire at night, and having a blackberry brandy or two.

A lot of "interesting" things seem to happen on trips. We used to go back and "review" every once in awhile. Neat to read about those sudden storms, the fishing "honey holes" we occasionally found, the special scenery, funny incidents, etc. etc.

You could do the same with your computer and Microsoft Word.

I always carry a small Cannon camera that fits in my front shirt pocket and in the top of my tank bag. I take as many photos as I can on our trips that my wife and I make.
I down load them on my laptop and later on I use them and Word to make a travel journal of each trip then down load it to a thumb drive take it to kinkos and have a journal printed and spiral bound. We look at them occasionally, but I am keeping them so my son and granddaughter can have them after we are gone. All I have from my dads epic trip around the states on his Harley in the late 1930's is a few photos and the stories he told me about the 3 year journey . They are some of my most treasured things from him.

Did the same thing on multiple long distance bicycle tours. Fun to go back over them occasionally.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
