    Default THIS MAKES ME MAD!!

for those who don't read or speak mandarin the video tells of women coming to the u.s. 6 months or more pregnant
from china, having the kid so they can gain citizenship then applying for benefits, leaving the kid in the u.s. and going back to china and still receive benefits for LIFE.

when they come to the u.s. they stay in 1 of 400 homes owned by chinese businesses who help them with this crime. this video tells of california but i'm sure there are a few other states that this happens in, most assuredly ny. i can
only hope trump does something about it.

this post is not meant to be political but hopefully informative, i'm sure very few on here would ever know of scams
    like this.

It's not just the Chinese. Virtually every country in the world participates in this. It is well known and supported by many in congress. Just not well known or supported by those paying for it.

    Thumbs down

    "Resistance is Futile"

Until the 14th amendment to the Constitution is changed this will go on, to the delight of many.

    Default Warning - Rant Below

This country that I love and have defended my entire life (from military dependent, to military retiree, to retired DoD contractor) has really gone to hell in a hand-basket when it comes to redistributing everything. I always was of the belief that everyone pays their taxes, from personal to corporate. That funds the country in order to "in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity." When you actually look at the legal breakdown of the terms, as defined by the original authors and later the Supreme Court - no where does it state that we the citizens have to pay for others to live or immigration in any form. Nor does is say that any persons or corporate wealth should be purposefully redirected or redistributed. BUT - that is what has happened and will continue to happen. As long as the citizens voices are either non-existent or muted by other, or they are just too stupid to see what is really happening - this will continue.

Think about this - as a business owner in California it is proposed that any company that has a corporate board will be mandated to have a woman as a member, no questions, no exceptions. What happen to "I own the company and want to work with the most qualified people." Let's cal this executive job redistribution.

This is far from the country that my grandfather fought for and all of my forefathers (generations 11 and 12) made the trek from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Germany to build. That was based on the opportunity to work and benefit from your toils. I know know that I and other tax paying citizens have been sponsoring the decline of this nation. Our wealth, no matter how large or small, has gone to pay for programs to systematically keep people from working, allow illegal immigration (fact the majority of illegals don't work - look at Minneapolis) and basically make America one of the top "lazy ass" countries in the world.

If you think it is ok for this to happen - I have a family in my town that is looking to move into your home. They need you sponsorship for rent, food, education (once you teach them English) and eventually higher education. They will actually tell you that that's why they are here .... ready to have them move in? They want your wealth. Hell sell your Spyder and give them the cash.

I hope this country can right itself - all of the great kingdoms have fallen from where they once were - and most here are blind to our fall and the things that aided in the decline.

Sorry for the rant - being a passionate American I cannot help myself. - I am off the soapbox

Guess the whole 'no politics' rule is no longer in effect?

Most of this 'off topic' area is quite the cesspool.... people posting fact-less garbage and then blasting their politics, hate and fear.
Some of it is as bad as the Facebook wars about politics.....

WOW! That's pretty intense. I have more pressing problems to deal with, like the tiny bubble in the stick figure cartoon I placed on the rear window of my Wrangler; I'm wondering if it will flatten out or will I need to use a pin to pop it.

This whole damned thread is just stupid. It has nothing to do with one side or another. It has to do with the fact that you posted a video in Mandarin with no English translation or even subtitles. If you look at it directly on YouTube, even all the comments are in Mandarin. The only "translation" we have is what YOU told us what YOU think it means and YOU didn't even provide a source for your translation -- if indeed it's even an actual translation. Sorry, but the first step in any logical argument is determining WTH we're even arguing about. If you are claiming to speak and read Mandarin, then speak up, identify yourself as the translator and I will salute you. If not, identify where you got the translation so we can see it ourselves. As things stand, everyone here just seems to assume that it means what you say it means and they start arguing from there. How dumb is that? Maybe I should have you sign a contract with my wife, she'll write it in Tagalog and trust me, I'll tell you what it means, trust me -- P.S., I don't speak Tagalog. Sheesh.

You are very right, for my accurate translation i use my wife, father in law, brother in law, sisters in law, niece who did the translation at the hospital and my poor understanding of mandarin. While in bed every night i control the tv & my wife has her laptop watching taiwan & chinese videos with chinese subtitles so i trust her completely on translation and i watch chinese news with her sometimes. My wife graduated college in taiwan then came to the u.s. While in taiwan i practiced my mandarin hitting on spicy girls (google it if you want to know what that is), my wife & her friends were very surprised i knew a lot more then they thought. Understand the reason i know a lot about china & taiwan & have been there is from my wife & her family. I also have vendors in taiwan who are fluent in english but
when we do have a little issue my wife will type it out or talk to them on phone.

P.S. johnsimion, a really really good customer of mine comes to u.s. 3 or 4 times a year from the filipines to visit his kids & stops at my place to buy a bunch of classic wheel covers for his cars, he has over 50 of them there. no i don't speak tagalog but he speaks english.

Thank you! And a salute is due as well. I apologize for questioning you ... you should have said something up front!

For the record, I've verified what you say and although the numbers may be a bit exaggerated, that doesn't make it right. This kind of thing irritates me as well. I would like to see the Constitution amended so that at least one parent has to be a citizen or legal immigrant before citizenship is conferred. And I'd like to see a rule that government benefits can't be sent overseas except those actually earned; e.g. Social Security. But I don't foresee either political party doing that. The GOP would be the most likely, except they seem to be unable to pass simple common sense things because they're too busy tacking on controversial stuff; e.g., we want to build the wall but if you want to support that, you also have to vote to completely change the legal immigration system. There's no connection between ILLEGALS and legals, so why are they lumped together into the same bill? It's like they're asking to fail and honestly I often think that's their intent. Another example is *****care; I totally agree it's terrible and should be repealed and replaced, but honestly, how could they not have another plan ready after all these years? And how could they come up with the votes to pass the tax cut but NOT to repeal *****care? Repealing *****care was what they campaigned on and finally they control everything and they STILL can't do it ... but they CAN pass a tax cut? Come on! If that isn't a deliberate fail, bite me.

About Filipinos, I have been married 32 years and know only a little of the language, only words I can pick up from listening to her speaking to friends and relatives. The minute you start speaking to a Filipino, they immediately answer in English! My wife learned English in school ***and their classes were also taught in English***. That would be the equivalent of me learning Algebra in Russian. And there are NO textbooks from English to Tagalog ... but thousands from Tagalog to English. Oddly, she has Filipina friends here in Vegas who come from other islands within the Philippines and they don't speak the same dialect -- and so the entire group ends up conversing in English!

And even that's no guarantee they all understand each other! When I was in England in 1988/89 a guy in the US Air Force over there told me of a time he was in a pub talking with a group of Londoners, Scots, Aussies, some from Birmingham, and himself, an American. All were speaking English, but they couldn't understand each other!
