    Default Touch up paint price, not a Spyder

    What's the highest price anyone paid for touch up paint (small tube) ? Sylvan marine wanted almost $ 84.00 with postage. Anyone beat that ? Crazy !!

    The amount of paint is also a factor. I bought a bottle of Harley paint one time. I calculated what it would cost per gallon; over $7,000. I'm definitely in the wrong business.

    Default Shop around....

    Never pay more than slightly over normal for the amount needed. I find that the nail polish line works for many paints in my past but once they put "color matched", "Brand name like Honda Red" or "give the paint a name" it becomes like putting "Organic or Gluten Free" on foods. Price doubles or triples...No extra cost to the manufacturer other than the print on the lable...

    About $25 for a small container for my Subaru. .25 fluid oz. decimal point is correct.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

    MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

    IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.
