2012 Spyder vs 2013 Spyder exhaust
Anyone knows if an akrapovic for 2013 RS/ST would fit on prior years RS-S ? I know CAT on 2013+ is no longer part of the exhaust but wasnt sure about fitment.

It's a no-go...
The 2012 has a Series 990 Vee-Twin
The 2013 has a Series 991...
The engines are tuned differently; the exhaust systems are not interchangeable.

Thanks, they actually switched to 991 late 2010. From 2008 to early 2010 they used 990 than late 2010 to 2012 they used 991, 2013 still same bore and displacement but higher compression. There is a dealer that is selling an Akrapovic exhaust listed as 2013+ I emailed him if it will work for 2012 he said yes but no returns on the exhaust so I was just trying to find out if it will not work because one has a built-in cat or because the mount is different. I like the look of akrapovic but it doesn't seem they made them for 2012 so I guess I'll live with a stock exhaust.

One more thing... Don't buy that exhaust: the mounts are completely different.
Compression ratios:
990 Series Twin 10.8:1
991 Series Twin 12.2:1
1403 Series Triple: 12:1

Check out YouTube for some of the aftermarket systems. You might get a couple of good ideas.
