Default Progressive Front Shocks - 2008-2012 GS, RS, RSS

This Progressive Shock Set has been sold

I recently was able to get 2 sets of these Progressive Front Shock Sets for the 2008-2012 GS, RS & RSS models. These are really nice shocks for the front of these Spyder models. They will do wonders for the ride and overall handling. Especially when coupled with my sway bar kit. I used to carry these and customers really liked them.

I wanted to offer these shocks sets here before I put them up on eBay as I have to charge more for them there. I can always sell for less when we deal directly.

These are a better shock than the Fox Podiums. Very well made and last a long time. The spring rate and hydraulic dampening are better suited for the Spyder. They are Nitrogen Charged and come with infinitely adjustable shock spring Pre-Load.

$435.00 delivered to anywhere in the 48 US states. I can also ship these anywhere in the world. If you are outside of the 48 US States, or you are International, just email me at fyredad@hotmail.com and I'll give you a shipping quote.

This is what Progressive lists as attributes.

    • High Quality at a Reasonable Price
    • Uses proper spring rates and specifically tuned deflective disc dampers
    • Gas charged to help prevent oil foaming
    • Wrapped in an all aluminum body
    • Utilizes a threaded body for fine tuning to match your riding style and load
    • Stylish looks, smoother ride, better handling and improved stability

Thanks and have a great day!

    Default That they are...

At the time I was looking at them for my RS 2012 they did not list that year so ended up with the Fox. Still trying to find a rear shock they had them at one time as well...

For some reason. Progressive never updated their application list. I think they were expecting these shocks to sell like crazy because the OEM shocks on the early GS, RS models were so miserably poor. But a great number of early Spyder buyers had never ridden a motorcycle before and they were not aware of the need to farkle. When sales were not what they envisioned I think Progressive simply put their marketing effort elsewhere.

That does not, in any way, take anything from the great quality and build of these shocks.

You can still find the 465-1100 model that you need for the rear. But once again, the application listing for these usually ends at the 2010 models even though they will fit the 2011 & 2012's as well. Just like the fronts.

I know this is the end of the season and many are thinking of putting their Spyders away, not putting more stuff on them. But this is a great price on these shocks and I will not be getting any more.

    Have a great Fall Season!

I went to the progressive site and found a shock set that looks like the ones you were selling.
For anybody looking they are listed as model 435, so a typo or possibly new model number.
I will most likely be looking at these early next year.

Ps. Thanks for the info BajaRon

The 435 series is for the front. The 465 series is for the rear.
