Front tire mount 2014 Rt
Can any tire shop mount RT tires? Dealer wants $130 labor fronts. Trying to save $$

Best bet is to take it to a local shop so they can see if their tire machine can be configured for it.

Pick one of your choice and ask. The Spyder rims should fit. Balancing is a different issue as I understand. The spindle on some spin balancing machines is too large to fit Spyder wheels. I may be wrong.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Took my new (car) tires and wheels to Costco. Total cost for mount and balance was $30.16 including taxes and disposable fees to put the Kendas in the trash where they belong.....

Since they are very close to the small Honda wheels any shop should have no issues ....the comment about not balancing is for the REAR wheel only .....the front wheel hole is not an issue ...... Mike

I went to a few big tire stores here in Las Vegas and they could mount but not balance my front tires on my 2016 F3L. I had to bubble balance them at home with a Harbor Freight unit. I also used centamatic balancers too.

Duke, Check with the two local motorcycle shops/service locations to see if they can do it. They likely have the smaller spindles needed for balancing. And, I bet for far less.

Thanks for the info Mike. I did order a set of the tires that you highly recommended.

Any tire shop can dismount and mount the front tires. As mentioned many tire shops cannot balance them. Spindle size is not an issue for the front. It is the hub size. The rim center hub is too small to fit against the machined surfaces of the balancer hub. Adapter is needed and available from the balancer maker. But is an extra that most shops will not get unless they see a big enough demand.
