    Default 2018 RT LTD comingSaturday

My old RT is a 2011. Do they have less problems than they did in 2011. Excessive heat on the right foot. Do they ride good, and have you had codes since you got yours

Got my 2018 RT L at the end of Jan. and almost 6k miles so far and not a problem. The 1330 engine runs better and doesn't need the maintenance the 998's do. It's the new High Tech Dash that you will complain about as it can be a challenge to figure out how to work it. The bike only comes with FM radio and any other music will be from your smartphone. No CB, No Satellite (yet). Genius Maps instead of Garmin and a few other apps that are useful. You will find a lot of helpful tech support on here and videos on Youtube.

    Betcha cant wait!

Although I don't have the Ltd version, my wife and I have the 2018 RT and we both love it. I haven't had any heat problem at the feet at all, and really it's been a much cooler ride than I expected for the size engine (last 1200+ CC engine I was on was an FJR and that got toasty, although not near as much of a bake fest as the 2008 ST1300 I used to own). To me the RT doesn't make me want to get off just to cool down

    Congrats on your new purchase!
